More afternoon tea

The lovely Kensington Palace photos are providing me ample opportunity to not only provide a nice change to the usual grimy east London backdrop (don't worry, it'll be back!) but also to use some of my photo editing effects, inspired by Jen, the Style Crusader.  I tried to make everything a bit purple and grainy in the hope it would look like we were frolicking in the Gardens in the 60s!

  3. Ooh I love these shots! I'd love that one of me to use for something.

It's funny - I hadn't heard you & Jen talking about this - but I've been playing around with shots of that day, too: over saturating them, or under.. the day itself felt like a memory, so I'm not surprised we were tapping into that, creatively.

Came here to get your link & found this: about to post on you now. Hope you had a lovely weekend!

  7. @ Emily - I just did it with the editing software afterwards, I have no photographic skills whatsoever (I usually even forget to take the lens cap off!)

@ Polka Dot - want me to send you the photo or can you save it from here?

  8. Woah what was I thinking? Trying to lure the poor timid squirrel by pretending I had food in my hand. Yeah 'Squirrel can kill you' LOL.
